Arc Flash Labels

This phase of Power System Study projects is not the end, but it is close. After labels have been produced and applied to all the appropriate pieces of electrical equipment, it is time to re-introduce the client to their Electrical Distribution System. The maintenance staff will go through a training that will inform them of the risks, and the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to wear when working on energized electrical equipment. This will also be the time when the client will establish which portions of the Electrical Distribution System should be de-energized prior to maintenance, and which portions can be worked on while energized. This will also describe all parts of the maintenance standards for Electrical Maintenance in the Facility.

This process will be repeated for any major change to the Electrical Distribution System, or after 5 years, whichever comes first.
